creative thinking

The creative process is an ongoing exercise whereby everything you do that is not habit is creative. Harnessing this creative power and directing it toward new ideas and solving problems is where most people need help. The educational system is poor at teaching student on how to retain their inherent creative talents. So much emphasis is put on learning rote memorization of data that cultivating the imagination is a lost art. Those who do retain this ability are not quite sure, as they mature how to channel this gift into everyday life.

Everything created was given birth through imagination. All form is the outcropping of mind. Before anything becomes formed it was conceived in someone’s mind first through the power of their imagination. The ability to imagine is universal. The power to imagine is not limited by gender, culture, education or intelligence. If more people understood this power they could transform their life accordingly. We spend one third of our lives asleep. Learning to use the dream state to enhance your creative mind is a potent tool. There are many ways to learn to become lucid in the dream state and to utilize the language of the psyche to benefit our waking life. The ability to direct your focus is an art, all creative work is the result of clarity and the expansion of focused intent. There are two kinds of focus, hard and soft, every problem or creative project needs to use both kinds of focus to be successful learn the difference

week 3

It is been a great week for me because in this week I got to meet Madam Fatimah Abu Bakar. She thought us on how to read body language and how to present a good body language in interview.
A good dining etiquette in social gathering will reflect on your upbringing. In this case we have to bring our good manner in to the table and maybe we can score a good business with our etiquette. To present yourself you have to look good.

What I learn in my 2nd week in BeST program

In this second week we learn about Resume and Cover Letter, Effective Meeting, Advanced Business Report Writing and Public Speaking. Base of what I learn: Effective Resume and

Impressive Cover Letter

Conducted by:
Madam Norliza Mohd Hashim and Madam Farahiyah Mohamad Kamal @ Hod

Although the cover letter is such an important document, we may encounter several conflicting opinions as how it should look (What is a Cover Letter?). It is important to remind that the person who going to read your resume will read it for about 45 second. It is best to pass it along to as many different people you trust, solicit their advice, be prepared for conflicting advice, be prepared to write and rewrite the letter many times.

Effective Meeting

Conducted by:
Madam Suzelina Mohd Sakian and Madam Iris Madona Simon Marshal D’cruz

Whereby an effective meeting is a business meeting that serves certain desired purposes in an optimal way. While meetings are among the core tools for making things happen in any organizations, they often consume too much time and resources.

Advanced Business Report Writing

Conducted by:
Madam Tara Ooi I-Chen

To attract the attention of today's busy readers, we must respond to their need for clarity and conciseness in written communication. A business should be short and easy for the reader to understand. It is important to write it straight to the point because in business time is money.

Public Speaking

Conducted by:
Mister Faizal Kamal Bin Mohamed

In this activity we learn on how to be heard and to speak better in public. To be heard we must voice out our opinion and to voice our opinion we must speak clearly and improve on our grammar. Before public speaking we must do the following:

Audience
Get information about who will be attending your presentation.

The take-away message
Focus on that message. Start out with this summary statement in mind and build your presentation around it.

Outline
Once you have an idea of your presentation's main message, spend some time thinking about the structure of the entire talk.

Strong start
The first couple of minutes of your talk should be the most prepared and polished. You want to get off to a good start.

Confidence and enthusiasm
Make sure that you exert confidence during your presentation. Don't apologize for what you don't have with you to present or what you do not know. Rather, focus on what you can talk about and discuss the material with confidence.

Practice makes perfect
Practice the presentation a few times. It can be especially helpful to give the talk to someone who is not in your field and is not intimately familiar with the material. This is helpful in seeing whether you have made the talk too narrowly focused or overly technical.

My first UniRazak experience

My experience in UniRazak

It is nice to walk in into new experience and BeST program give me that excitement.
My first day in UniRazak is kind of havoc fighting traffic congestion and try to find the right train to come here, wow for me it’s a bit tiring. Well no complain about that I guess to live in KL is that demanding. But all is not that harsh, the first time to step in to UniRazak I made a determination that I going to give my best.

To meet new friend is scary experience you can’t judge them for their look or the way they speak. For you to judge them are for them to judge you, that what my father always reminds me.I’m lucky that my new friends give me support and motivate me to move forward along with them.
